Experience the future of the packaging industry live at interpack 2026

The food and beverage industry is in transition – moving towards more sustainable materials, intelligent processes and fully automated solutions. Where can you see for yourself what such future set-ups may look like? At interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf, Germany, where from 7 to 13 May 2026 Krones will be demonstrating how up-to-the-future packaging concepts can be implemented right now.

At our Stand B75 in Hall 13, we will showcase our packaging innovations for beverages and liquid foods, giving you an opportunity to watch the requisite technologies in action and listen to a number of specialist presentations delivered by experts with hands-on industry experience.

VARIOPAC PRO

Sustainability and automation in packaging processes

The Variopac Pro, a packer for non-returnable containers that Krones will exhibit at interpack, exemplifies how the urgent challenges currently facing the sector can be translated into shopfloor reality. Fairgoers can watch it live in operation, producing pack after pack using materials that are supplied automatically.

Sustainable packaging concepts

With its LitePac concept, Krones offers a resource-economical alternative to conventional film-wrapped shrink packs. At interpack, Krones will present several such types of pack. Some will be directly processed on the Variopac Pro while many other variants for all container types will be on display.

Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV)

Autonomous material supply

Under its Ingeniq concept, a new performance-based generation of line solutions, Krones relies on entirely autonomous material handling. At interpack, Krones will showcase an AGV from System Logistics that transports packaging materials and feeds them into the Variopac Pro packer.

ROBOBOX SYNFLOW

Robotics for container distribution

Another innovative solution that Krones will premiere in Düsseldorf is a container distribution concept based on robotics, which enables especially flexible and gentle handling at the packer’s infeed. Our specialists at the stand will be fielding questions on all aspects of the new Robobox SynFlow sorting system.
