The EBC Symposium 2025 is calling for experts and scientists to join the discussion on sustainable beer packaging and dispense technology. Held in Budapest from 18 to 20 May 2025, this year’s theme focuses on groundbreaking advancements in kegs, beer-tank systems, and dispense technology that support quality, sustainability, and consumer satisfaction. Time is running out—the call for abstracts closes on Monday, 3 February 2025, at 23:59 CET! If you’re passionate about the future of sustainable packaging for beer, now is the moment to act. We welcome submissions from brewing technologists, quality experts, and specialists in packaging, dispense systems, and sustainability. Abstracts should explore one or more of the following themes: - Innovations in keg, keg components and materials
- Innovations in beer-tank systems, or other novel aspects of sustainable packaging
- Beer dispense systems, ease of operation, cleanability and consistency in quality
- Consumer acceptance of draught beer, both from the intrinsic (beer quality) as well as extrinsic point of view (marketing and PoS considerations)
